July 1 and 2, 2023 from 1:00 - 6:00 pm
Yin yoga has become incredibly popular in recent years. This insightful practice is rooted in ancient Eastern wisdom and provides a perfect counterbalance to our fast-paced lives both on and off the mat. The practice teaches us to simply slow down, go within and develop a contemplative awareness of self. In stillness, we really get to know ourselves and the patterns being held in the physical body as well as the internal landscape.
During this training you will expand your yoga teaching skills by learning Yin Yoga’s history, philosophy, anatomy, benefits, poses and unique sequencing specific to this approach. You will examine the use of props and modifications to help students dive deeper into their practice.
Upon completion of this weekend, you will have gained the confidence to share this amazing and specialized practice with others.
While this workshop is being offered as part of our 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training, it is also a stand-alone session open to all yoga instructors. Ten continuing education units (CEUs) are offered through Yoga Alliance.
