6-Week Series: 1/31; 2/7; 2/14; 2/21; 2/28; 3/7

Are you tired of trying to change your body to meet an impossible standard? Do you wish to feel more appreciation for the body you have and the life you live?

This unique group will combine interactive discussion with strategic yoga poses to help you to deeply investigate the messages about your body that you have absorbed. Through connecting with your inner wisdom, you can determine what feels true for you, and work to let go of that which no longer serves you. This group will provide a safe, non-judgmental, and inclusive space for women to process our experiences and support one another and is open to all individuals who desire to connect with their divine feminine. This is a wonderful opportunity to cultivate more love and acceptance for yourself on a deeper level.

Each class will be centered around a particular theme or topic related to the constructs of body image, gratitude, and empowerment. Sessions will consist of mindfulness and breath awareness inquiries; group discussion; and a yoga practice before relaxing into a guided savasana and intention setting for the week ahead.

$150 for the 6-week series; $120 for unlimited members.

A trained school psychologist who has worked with individuals across the lifespan, Laura has blended her knowledge and practice of mindfulness, yoga, and psychology, helping others discover and deepen their inner strengths. In addition to teaching yoga in the studio setting, she has taught community-based classes and workshops in schools, camps, offices, and outdoor festivals throughout the Roanoke Valley. Laura is grateful for the chance to have learned from a variety of yogis along the way and fuses these teachings and traditions together to create energetic yet restorative classes, with a focus on mind, body, and breath awareness. With every class Laura brings peace, joy, and a warm smile to the mat and shares it with those whom she guides. She is inspired by each of her students, who have become her greatest teachers.
