With a background in dance education, a foundation in somatic practices, and an interest in neuroscience, Wendi contemplates how yoga might offer support for recovering and re-building resilience in the nervous system. Beginning her yoga practice in 1998, she has studied with teachers of ashtanga, jivamukti, yin, and tantra, ayurveda, mudra and mantra. Her classes encourage the integration of breath, movement, and awareness. She sees the practices of yoga and meditation as eternal opportunities to return to the body as a source of wisdom and insight.
