After enduring one of the most challenging years of her life, Alex (she/they) was introduced to yoga by a supportive college roommate. Gradually, yoga became a path to healing, helping Alex to feel whole again. Determined to rebuild and strengthen her foundation, Alex traveled to Rishikesh, India, in 2016 to deepen her practice and study at Shiva Yoga Peeth. Since then, Alex has been both a dedicated teacher and lifelong student of Yoga.

Alex is passionate about creating inclusive movement practices that welcome all bodies. Through Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, and Ashtanga techniques, Alex emphasizes mindfulness, and the connection between breath, movement, and stillness. Each class is an opportunity to share the grounding and healing power of yoga, fostering a space where every student can connect with their inner strength and peace.

Off the mat, Alex is an artist who specializes in working with natural dyes and creating botanical prints on fabric. When she’s not in the studio, you can find her foraging for plants in the woods, walking her dog, working with kids, running miles, or serving food and drinks at Bloom restaurant.
